SHERO
SHERO was founded with women in first responder industries in mind (Firefighters, Police Officers {including other titles held in law enforcement} Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians). Why women in these industries? Simply put, there are very few women in these industries, oftentimes leaving them feeling alone, isolated, and misunderstood, with nowhere to turn.
SHERO is a community of women supporting each other with adversities and challenges we face in our careers and our journeys through life. This platform was created for women to come and indiscriminately share their stories, and bond with other women in first responder industries.
What do we do?
Thanks for asking. Although SHERO is as serious a company as its founder and CEO, Delores Hurst, who is also a retired firefighter, (served the city of Compton, California) we are also an open-minded company, looking for new ways to grow. In today's world, you must be good at a little of everything. Well, we are not there yet, but we are good at several things, including, Writing, Filming documentaries, Baking, and other food services.
